About Place Journal: Political Landscapes

Three of Rachel Morgan’s poems, “Empty,” “Eclogue on Coal Car,” and “Coal, An Epilogue” appear in current issue of About Place Journal on Political Landscapes. Editor issue Taylor Brorby writes, “Because the land is always changing, as are we–and perhaps that’s the role of art in this time: to point us towards what we know and help launch us into the Unknown, searching for the possible and the real.” Also in the issue are great pieces of nonfiction by Mary Swander and Pam Houston.
